Situated on a prominent hillside overlooking the Birmingham Country Club golf course, this 1929 Tudor Revival home was exquisitely detailed on the exterior, but surprisingly lackluster inside. As part of a ambitious renovation and enlargementplan, we designed new paneling, cabinetry and ironwork fitting to the style and period of the home. Once the shell was appropriately detailed, we set about furnishing this grand home with a refreshing blend of fine antiques and comfortable and clean-lined upholstery. The homeowner’s love for beautiful things and their collection of fine art and antiques was a driving force behind every decision made along the way.
